​West End Preschool offers a welcoming, safe and fun learning environment in which children are encouraged to be confident and independent learners.

We are rated as a Good provider by Ofsted September 2023.



Children are supported by a team of experienced, well‑trained staff who create a warm, caring environment where every child feels valued and develops a strong sense of belonging and ownership of their preschool.

Our environment is thoughtfully organised into inviting areas, each stocked with high‑quality resources that encourage children to explore, investigate and learn through play. These areas are regularly enhanced in response to the children’s interests and in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage. Recent themes have included Growing, People Who Help Us, Communities, and Homes and Families.

Our daily routine promotes children’s independence, giving them opportunities to make choices and follow their own ideas. Throughout the day, children can engage in a wide variety of rich, play‑based experiences such as:

• Construction

• Painting, mark making and collage

These experiences support children’s holistic development and help them grow into confident, curious and capable learners.
